I just completed a new painting, "Jazz Ambassadors", that will be on display at the Jazz Heritage Center, San Francisco, until June 25th. If you're in the neighborhood please visit the show.

My heart-felt condolences go out to the family and friends of Frankie Manning (1914 - 2009), pioneer of Lindy Hop dancing, who brought so much joy and pleasure to so many people around the world. Frankie always radiated warmth, joy and love. He was, and is, a great inspiration for me. I will miss him dearly.

I shall be taking my portrait of Frankie around the world with me over the next few months and documenting its journey on my Frankie web page.
