This is my first painting of 2007 and is my tribute to the wonderful, beautiful, complex, soulful, lively, diverse city that I call home: San Francisco. Every image (including the fireworks and the central heart) contained within this artwork is a scene from the city and is based on photographs I have taken over the last few years.
