Painter 7 to 8 Conversion Summary
for Painter Creativity DVDs

My DVD tutorial, Painter Creativity for Wedding and Portrait Photographers, was created using Painter 7. Since that time Painter has been revised and the latest version is Corel Painter 8. All the techniques taught on my DVDs are applicable in Painter 8, just as in Painter 7. You will still be able to use my DVDs to learn how to transform your photographs into paintings using Painter 8.

The interface in Painter 8 has been simplified and now looks a lot more like Photoshop. I’ve summarized below the main changes that will help you translate my DVD instructions for Painter 8. This is not an exhaustive list and there may still be a few items that you will have to find. If you have any problems please e-mail me. I shall update this list as more items are brought to my attention.
