Move to the Groove Art Show & Dance Party:
A Celebration of Art, Music & Motion
Solo show and creative event at ArtSFest, 1500 Harrison Street , San Francisco
May 28th , 2005
At this exciting and unusual creative event over 250 guests enjoyed a unique blend of art, music, people and dance. The art displayed was a new series of paintings by Jeremy Sutton on the theme of dance and music. During the evening guests enjoyed wonderful dance performances performed in front of paintings in which the dancers were depicted (life imitating art...). Jeremy gave a guided art tour and a live portrait demonstration. In the Creativity Corner computer stations were set up where guests could try computer painting. These painting stations were so popular there was never an empty chair. Between dance performances guests danced the night away to DJ Manu Smith's great mix of dance music, from swing to tango to salsa and much more. This event was such a great success that another event that combines art and dance is in the works for January, 2006. Join the Art Mailing list at the bottom of the home page to be kept posted.
Here are photos from the night. You'll need to scroll down to see them all.
