This portrait was created as part of the San Francisco Legendary Mayors series. Mayor Jordan sat for me in his home and I incorporated visual elements based on our conversation and what he said was important to him (such as his meeting with Mother Teresa). This was my second portrait of Mayor Jordan, the first created many years before while he was Mayorwhen he sat for a live portrait in his office in City Hall.
