These triptychs were created in honor of the great comedians and entertainers who participated in the first ever ComedyTalks hosted panel discussions in the the magnificent University of San Francisco 1930s Presentation Theater. See the YouTube video summary of the talks. ComedyTalks were hosted and produced by Robert Strong with co-producer Juliana Gallin and director Frank Zamacona. The legends depicted are George Segal, Paul Mazursky and Ronnie Schell (Triptych No.1); Rich Little, Carol Channing and Steve Rossi (Triptych No. 2) and Robert Morse, Shelley Berman and Will Durst (Triptych No. 3). They shared many stories and had a wonderful warm energy and comeraderie together on-stage. The legends have all been very gracious and kindly signed my portraits of them (see photos below).
