This painting is one of a series,“Cityshapes: Motion, Body & Soul”, that resulted from a creative collaboration between myself and modern dancer Tiffany Barbarash. “Rock” is based on photographs (a sampling of which is shown below) taken of Tiffany dancing in the large rock sculpture at Justin Herman Plaza.
