This pastel drawing is based on a photograph by Hawaian photographer David Taylor. David took the phototo promote the Mavis Tracy Ballet School. He wanted to craete an image that had a "Degas" feel. The model was Lindsay McGlinn, a ballet instructor at the school.Jeremy reinterpreted the image keeping in the "Degas" pastel style.This image was published as the cover artwork for the April 2003 issue of the Rangefinder magazine.
